Went to The Art of the Bricks, as well as two other exhibitions that were on. As usual, I'm lazy to upload all the pictures so I selected a few. Took these with my new digital camera (which is supposed to be better than my old one but doesn't seem so) and the photos look quite pixelated when zoomed in.

Having my Final Year Project presentation next week and I am already worried about it. It's rather nerve-wrecking as I cannot speak/present (nor write) well. But I'm definitely going to practice for the next 10 days. I even made the effort to look for online tips on how to present, watch a YouTube video on scientific presentation (I didn't search for it, my lecturer sent us the link) and refer to my lecture notes from speaking skills module.
*crossing all my fingers*

Oh, I'm back to drawing! Not extensively but once in a while, or rather once every 2 to 3 months. I'm still amateur at it, after not drawing for 5 years.

I admit that it's not well-drawn but hey, I'm still at the stage of getting back on track of it. Practice makes perfect *grins*

And I have Instagram! Woo hoo *confetti showers*

Animal Print Shop
Sharon Montrose has combined her passion for photography with her love of animals to create the most amazing collection of animal portraits. From adorable photographs of baby critters to hilarious snapshots of tails to stunning images of wildlife, there is something for everyone in her Animal Print Shop. I personally need a pair of those donkey ears!

Paint Chips
Shawn Huckins, a Denver based artist, mimics the exact proportions, font, layout and hues of paint cards found at every home improvement store. His Paint Chip Series explores color choices and their meaning in our everyday lives. It just goes to show how people can find inspiration and beauty in the most mundane items.

Bird Rib
I’m completely mesmerized by artist Maurizio Bongiovanni‘s traditional oil on canvas paintings of birds literally dripping in vertical smears of vibrant color. The series is alluring in the most delightfully bizarre way. Honestly, cool.

Melting Stills
Skilled artist and photographer Nick Knight has recently launched a body of work in London, which took him nearly 10 years to develop. Taking large scale floral photography, inspired by 16th century still life paintings, Nick exposes the prints to heat and water during the printing process which results in the most unique and breathtaking hybrid of photography and painting.

DenimuCan you believe that these portraits of the London Underground, Piccadilly Circus, Hampstead Heath and Camden Town are constructed entirely of denim?! Sweden-based British artist Ian Berry, aka Denimu, cuts old denim into precise shapes and pieces before meticulously gluing them all together. Using bleach and colored denim, he’s able to experiment with shading and color. Jean-ius.

The LEGO Story

(Accidentally deleted the post)
